ESMOD Student Talents on Display at TRANOÏ

The TRANOÏ salon invited ESMOD to display the designs of several different students around the beautiful Brongniart Palace. Each student design fit into the event’s Neo-Casual theme, whether a part of a streetwear collection or a tailoring revisited concept. All of these student works impressed the French and international visitors alike during the 4-day event (from Feb 28th to Mar 2nd.) We are proud that this wonderful partnership allowed for some important exposure for the young talents of ESMOD! 

A Day Dedicated To Eco-Responsible Fashion at ESMOD Paris

As we face rising rates of consumption, the fashion industry is being forced to evolve, to rethink its role, and to transform itself in order to become more eco-conscious and prioritize ethics.

ESMOD believes that this revolution must be a part of the education of a young, future designer from the very beginning: at school. This is why ESMOD is committed to taking action by teaching its students the best practices and giving them access to the most innovative research and development within the domain of responsible fashion.

ESMOD presents its « Fashion Business Development Certificate » in partnership with cnam

15 years ago, while the fashion industry was starting to reinvent itself by shifting its practices, ESMOD created a partnership with the Conservatory of Fine Arts (CNAM) in order to offer a complementary certificate program to ESMOD alumnae and industry professionals which would focus on innovation and management within the fashion industry. Thus, the Bachelor of Innovation Management in Fashion degree and Fashion Business Development within the Business Manager MBA (overseen by AMBA) was born. Last month, these programs celebrated their 10th anniversary.

Congratulations ESMOD Fashion Business Class of 2019!

Congratulations to the ESMOD Fashion Business class of 2019 who received their precious diplomas last week after completing their professional immersion internships. This year’s class was honored to have Brune Buonomano, the director of the BETC Etoile Rouge Agency as their speaker. Ms. Buonomano imparted her words of wisdom to the undergraduate and postgraduate classes of ESMOD Paris, Roubaix, and Lyon. The latter awarded their first “Head of Marketing and Communication Strategy in the Fashion Industry” degrees.

ESMOD Fashion Business X Neoma Business School, a Prestigious Academic Partnership

ESMOD Fashion Business has joined the NEOMA Business School in a partnership tied to the TEMA program that was recently launched by the latter. This partnership will allow 5th year masters students to spend a semester at NEOMA expanding on their knowledge of digital management and innovation. Students who take part in this unique program will have the opportunity to receive two diplomas, both of which are recognized by the government.

ESMOD Fashion Business Students Go Begore Judging Panel at Pantin

Last week, 3rd year Fashion Business students from Paris, Roubaix and for the first time, Lyon presented their final thesis projects in front of a panel of professionals from the fashion industry at the Pantin campus. For these thesis projects students were tasked with coming up with a way to diversify the product line of an already existing brand. The judges were very impressed with the professional presentation of these intriguing theses.

Decathlon x ESMOD Bordeaux Workshop

In the beginning of November, 2nd year students in Fashion Design and Fashion Business had the great fortune of being invited to spend a week within the water sports center of DECATHLON in Hendaye. While there, the invited ESMOD students along with other students that were invited from the region participated in a workshop where they developed innovative projects based on the company’s demands.

An Eco Responsible Prize for ESMOD Bordeaux

ESMOD Bordeaux students participated in the 24 hours of innovation challenge in partnership with FashionTech of Bordeaux and CHAIR BALI, of which ESMOD has been an active member for several years. After careful consideration, a duo of ESMOD students, Baptiste and Jules, took home the eco-responsible prize.

Job well done to all of the participants for their enthusiasm and innovative ideas. Thank you to Estia for organizing this event that brought together businesses such as LECTRA, Décathlon, Voltaire with the New Aquitaine region among others.
