Fashion Designer - Undergraduate

A 3-year programme split into two equal parts: Design and Pattern-Making - design being the creative design process and pattern-making dealing with the construction (the fold or hang, cut, stitching, etc.).
It is the combination of these two disciplines that gives the ESMOD methodology its added value, offering graduates complete expertise both technically and artistically.

Kanaé Taniwaki

Arrivé en France au début des années 1970, Kanae Taniwaki, styliste modéliste sorti de la Bunka Fashion College, célèbre école japonaise, a travaillé en tant que modéliste avec de nombreuses maisons comme CO&CO, PIERRE CARDIN, LORIS AZZARO, JUNKO SHIMADA, TOKYO KUMAJAÏ, ERIC TIBUSCH, FRANCK SORBIER ou encore ISSEY MIYAKE. Il collabore également avec ESMOD International Paris depuis 2000 en tant que professeur de modélisme dans la spécialisation nouvelle couture traditionelle, en 3ème année.

Juliette Roux

A specialist in computers and computer-assisted patternmaking, Juliette is also a hat designer and created her own line “Juliette Roux Mode”.

She has done numerous collaborations with brands including Armand Thierry, Artnuptia, Max Chaoul and Van Cleef & Arpel.

You Wen Delattre-Xiong

She collaborated with the Christian Dior workshops as a patternmaker at the beginning of her career, followed by working on a number of collections with David Zito.

She has been running the patternmaking classes at ESMOD and Hongdou.

Today, she runs YCCM, a service and consulting company for fashion creation

Maria Fors

A graduate of ESMOD, she began her career with young designers Marcel Marongiu and Mariot Chanet and then designed the Lanvin “runway” collection under the direction of Dominique Morlotti.

Maria also collaborated as trend consultant at H&M.

In 2001 she created her own women’s ready-to-wear and accessories brand : Maria Fors.

Nathalie Come

She created a style office in Morocco at the beginning of her career and then evolved to jobs as a designer, collection director and quality control manager for the mass market industry.

She is a design collaborator on ad campaigns and videos and has also organized fashion shows.

She also work in styling or photo styling in her job as fashion editor for “Les Alignés” magazine
